About Daily Bite Lab
Daily Bite Lab started because most nutrition content online exists on a spectrum between two extremes: peer-reviewed papers that require a biochemistry degree to parse, and Instagram infographics that oversimplify to the point of being wrong. We wanted the middle ground.
What We Do
Every essay is written by a credentialed nutrition professional — registered dietitians, food scientists, or public health researchers — and fact-checked against primary sources. When we say "a 2024 meta-analysis found," you can follow the citation to the actual paper.
Our Standards
We do not accept sponsored content. We do not have affiliate relationships with supplement brands. Our writers disclose any industry connections. The only agenda is accuracy.
Who Reads Us
People who want to eat well and understand why — not just follow rules handed down by an algorithm. If you care about the difference between "added sugar" and "total sugar" on a nutrition label, or why the RDA for protein might be set too low for most active adults, this publication is for you.
